Maria Eriksson-Hecht’s feature film debut is a harrowing and emotionally charged portrayal of two brothers in a world of adults who fail them.

Alex has always seen it as his duty to keep his impulsive little brother Robin and his violent, abusive war veteran father in check. What Alex himself wants or needs is something he has barely reflected on—until he meets Ines. She gives Alex a glimpse of everything he has missed out on: love, intimacy, teenage life. But when Alex lets go of his family for a moment, little brother Robin soon finds himself in free fall. Where Alex, with the help of love, manages to crack open the Kevlar around his soul, Robin instead allows it to harden further in the violent environment he gets drawn into.
